tC headrest tv's
Anyone have any xB headrests for sale...im looking for sale or trade to fit in the tC...would like 7" monitors in them already but if someone already has them in give me a price and we'll talk....
Yeah, this guy wanted to sell me two, I told him that I don't even have the car yet cause I'm waiting on 06 model, but I know he offered to sell them to me? I don't know if there is suppose to be a generic size? or if he still has them?
????????????? Haven't been up to that collison shop in a while. And It might be sometime til I go again. I've been looking to see if they if they will even fit? Are headrest a universal size or what? I don't think you could swipe them out? Does anyone know if u can just in stall them in the current head rest by someone?
yea i know you can install them in the stock tC headrests but everyone says you can only fit 5.5" TV's in them n thats what i used to have in my old car n there junk i'd rather swap with xB's n get 7"!
There is a video company called Myron & Davis that make a replacement headrest for most vehicles that have 7" monitors already built in and harnesses that make running the cables thru the seat a snap. Pull out your original Headrest and plop in the replacement so there's no 'cutting' involved
My store did a M&D set last week to a blue tC with the standard black cloth interior. Looked pretty good. The replacement headrest was a little bigger than the stock one to accomidate the big monitor. It came in the same material that the seats are done in so it looked like it belonged.
I know of at least 3 companies doing this. All are high grade LCD panels and don't come cheep. But if you want a decent size monitor and want a good looking final product, you may want to consider something like this.
