From what I read 6.5 will fit in both front and back. I have 3 possibilities for speakers.

Front: Polk MMC6500 ( w/ Discount $122)
Back: Polk MMC650 ( w/ Discount $70)

Front: Infinity KAPPA PERFECT 6.1 ( w/ Discount $154)
Back: Infinity KAPPA63.5I ( w/ Discount $77)

3rd Choice MB Quarts but no discount for me on them. As you can see with my Circuit City discount, I save A LOT.

 

I would go with JL's or some sony xplod's

^^they are cheap, disgusting speakers with poor sound reproduction and shoddy construction!

 

Seems like u guys like the Infinitys. Thats what I was leaning towards since they have better highs and mids.

Never had Infinitys before, Im excited, I had MB Quarts in my 93 Celica and I hear Infinity's sound similar.

What sucks is that Circuit City is no longer going to carry Alpine so Im gonna have to pay full price. Whats promising is that we will carry Kicker soon, so I may get a set of them if I get a good discount on them, rather than pay full price for JL's.

 

6.5 will fit on a tC front n back? without any altering of the car at all?? because i dont want to cut up my baby

 

so exactly how many speakers and tweeters are in the tc all together? 4 speakers and 2 tweeters?

 

I've been an infinity and polk fan for yrs. but I always lean more to polk...have had the EX, DB and Momo over the yrs. but the Infinity Kappas really sounds clearer and cleaner now.So I think I'll be doing the Kappas for my tC.
