It drops hard ... I called alpine and according to them the 10" TypeX needs .5 - 1.0cft inverted ... and the Audio Formz box is like .7 or something like that!

I have the same set-up, except I have an Arc woofer, but need to modify my amp rack as neither of my amps fit in it! I was just going to cut the tray part out, and use the cover.

Any idea why they left the dimples where the locking ***** were? It would look better if they would have smoothed those over.

It's a little of both....premade fiberglass but without the crap! Has a custom look but fits like stock! Check out our company site for more pics. Our new website is coming soon! The link is below.

The dimples are there for the factory *****. They can help secure the parts in place and it gives a more stock appearance. Or you can fill in the holes prior to painting for a more custom look. Feel free to contact me with any other questions.

The amp rack and sub case are all thanks to Audio Formz for more info PM rcherry2.
When I took the cases to my body shop there wasn't alot to do to get them ready for paint. Shoot em with a primer and then a few coats of paint and ... you can see the rest. Everything fits nice a snug. And keeps the look clean!

 

Got a plexiglass cover for the amp? Or is the back totally useless for storage now?

 

I am having a custom plexi cover made with the ALPINE logo engraved it and patterned holes laser cut so all the edges are smooth!

 

Its definitely not "pre-made crap".

 

Its Custom Pre-Made Fibergalss ... AND Its VERY VERY good quality!

 

when i said "crap" i didnt really mean quality. I was just referring to premade. I have already been talkin to the audioformz guy, and its definately not crap

 

So just say premade then... why call it crap?
