Default Is there a cheap way to plug in an iPod - yes, I've searched

I have searched all over and the only way I have found to hook up an iPod to the HU is a $90-$180 kits.

I don't care is the HU controls the iPod. All I want is a way to get the iPod to play on the HU.

I have an Airplay FM transmitter that works great in my wife's car and on my stereo but NOT in my 05 xA. It constantly has static and the output is low.

Any help would be great!

You can get a Wire Tunes adapter for pretty cheap on eBay.

The way I did it was by hooking up the usa spec aux input and then running a nyko dock to av cord to that um here
