Default ? for those who installed aftermarket H/U-wiring designation

I am planning on putting my OEM H/U to another car. there are 2 harness comming from the car to the H/U.
Beige harness
5 wires
red-
black-
yellow-white-?
white w/green stripe-?

Blue harness
9 wires
light green?
blue?
pink?
purple?
white with black stripe?
black withred stripe?
gray?
blue with yellow stripe?
dark green?

can someone please direct me on the designations of this wires. I'm assuming the beige harness is for power, and the blue harness is for speaker connection, but I appreciate it if someone can give me more info so I can make the hook up right.
thank you very much

I've never thought about putting a stock receiver into another car before. I didn't think it was possible for some reason.

no prob...

i'd hate to see you hook it up and have it blow up...
you can always order a plug set from you local stereo shop...that will have wires with the labels on them.
that way you do not need to cut your harness or the other cars harness...

I'm with Hotlava on this, I suggest that for the sake of ease you should buy a reverse Scion harness (the one that plugs in to the radio) and a regular forward harness for the vehicle you are installing in to. Granted, you will spend more on parts but there will be no permanent modification to either the car or radio. Solder or crimp cap the wires and it's plug and play. Mark

the H/U will go to my friends old truck, still have to find out if theres an existing lines. if not we'll have to put new wirings. lucky thing is I found a harness that is from a toyota, the guy that handed it to me did not specify what car but its exactly same as the xB harness.
So yes, instead of buying 2 harness, we'll just be crimping this to the new wires.
