Has anyone attempted to use one of those touchscreen overlays for use with non-touchscreen displays? I wanted to get a motorized fold out touchscreen, but just that... No stereo or other functionalities built in to it. Can't seem to find that. Just wondering what the outcome was and maybe some other details, like visibility/transparency, hook up for power/cpu, etc.

 

I haven't used any LCD monitors yet, but I've been keeping my eye on this one:

That's exactly what I'm looking for. Of course it's not being produced yet :/ and will probably never see the light of day... Another reason to try and get some feedback from anyone who's sucessfully used an overlay. I'll be keeping my eye on this one now too though, hehe.

 

Well, someday they will exist.... hopefully sooner rather than later!
