Toybox1's lighting mods - updated 3-9-04
ok .... so here are some pics of what i've done so far ....
UPDATE 2-24-04: added 3 bars in the rear and now have "indiglo" gauges
UPDATE 3-9-04: added 4 spirals (all speakers) and 4 roof lights

damn.. your car is bright as hell. pretty dope mods. i jess put some cathodes under my seats and looks pretty sweet. I'm thinkin of putting a cathode into the storage box or something, ahhdunno.. still thinkin about it..

got them from a computer warehouse near my house .... $5 a cathode
the install for all of them took a little bit of time (i had some major help from the Nor*Cal guys) ... but in retrospect there were a couple of things that could have made the install easyer. i think at this point i could get them all installed in about 2 hours.

I was actually really interested in putting cold cathodes in my xb. Any suggestions on how to wire them up? I know that it just needs a 12v power supply and most of them come with their own inverters.

Just hook up the 12 volt wire to a 12 volt wire in the vehicle whether it be a constant 12 volts if you want to turn it on even with the car off or just to an ignition wire. Take the ground wire and run it to a switch and then the other side of the switch to ground.
