Default TRD quickshifter -sticking

I had the TRD quickshifter installed a few days ago and when I push the shifter to the far left from neutral, it gets stuck there and doesn't come back to the center neutral position by itself. It is easy enough to bring it back to the center neutral position but I just wanted to see if anyone else out there has had the same problem/attribute.

Maybe the install wasn't done correctly?

I've never noticed that problem. I suggest taking a look to make sure nothing's in the way. The side to side movement controls the right cable on the side of the housing.
