Default Unplugging rear window antenna :: Helps Ipod FM transmitter?

so ive heard that unpluggin a car antenna will help cancel out interference from outside FM frequencies? which i figure sounds logical enough, i was thinking about just unpluggint the rear window antenna, i dont listen to the radio at all and i prefer to have my ipod in the front with me. I drive a Subaru for work and it has the same antenna set up so i just leave my ipod in the trunk with it constantly playing, it sounds tons clearer but i cant control the ipod... any suggestions? my final question is how do i unlpug the antenna in the rear window i see where it connects but i cant figure out how that little clip pops off... \

thanks
-joe

If you know how to take your head unit out just unplug it from the back of the head unit.

You cant just unplug the antenna from the back and be able to just plug it back in....if u disconnect it from the back it will not be able to plug back in unless u clip and reconnect new connections

you best bet is from behind the stereo, VERY easy to get to and just unplug, also easy for when u get rid of it to just unscrew 6 screws and plug it back in.
