Use your OBD2: ScanGauge
A nifty gadget to say the least...

And as you can see, the tC offers a pretty nice place to mount it. Displays a whole slew of info, best explained by simply linking to the site...
ScanGauge
Oh, and it displays IAT (intake air temp), so we may finally be able to put the CAI vs. SRI debate to rest.

I don't see how it could affect the warranty in any way, as it just plugs into the OBD2 port-- there's no wiring involved at all. It's just a basic diagnostic tool, with some handy gauge displays and trip monitors.
And after everyone saying "too bad it doesn't look cooler", I"m gonna have to do something about that...
