Varad mounting on xB?
Hey peeps, my new (and free :D ) replacement kit from Varad came in today, and to avoid the previous install troubles (see Cartoys and my Box thread), I shall be installing them myself. However, I have no clue where to mount them in the front and rear. The sides, easy. The front... the bumper brackets (?) would work, but I'm worried about messing up the LED bar since the car is dropped 2", and the rear I can't find anywhere that looks high enough. I was wondering if the people that have the Varad kits on their xB's could post up either where you mounted the bars or some pics showing it.... I'd greatly appreciate it. TIA.

Tried reaching you on AIM, dunno if you got it.
All you have to do is wire the kit up to a constant power source... meaning it's always live, even when the car is off. Or you could run it directly to the battery, which is fine too (recommend a fuse within 18" of the battery). All kits have a switch included, so if it's hooked up to the constant source, you'll be able to turn it off easily. Keep in mind that if you do this with a neon kit, they'll drain the battery fairly quickly. LEDs use a LOT less power, which is why I can leave mine on for days at a time without and issues when I start the car later. If you need any more help feel free to drop me a line, or check out www.oznium.com/forum :D
