VIP?????
tada!!!
I consider my car a litle more Exe/Lux cuz of the color. But enjoy. this post CAN be informative for a lot of people.

other ideas? how about some xA love?

Now i wouldn't condone any flaming or hating on this topic anymore. I laughed at fixed up vans when I lived in Japan. But started to study them more. Now I drive one!!! dang!!!
Other cars? Japanese sedans and wagons of other makes and models. I don't really include Euro cars as they have their own styling. it's Japanese VIP that I like the most.
Previa

LS400

Accord Wagon

GS300

SC300

Just some ideas and I hope this understnads what you should look for when I car is"VIP". EXE is a little less over styled. no crazy bodykit and what not. Lux/EXE/VIP can be easily blurred. the there is Sporty VIP or luxury VIP. Oh the endless possibilites.

I get TIRED of people spending 3 grand on wheels imported from japan and those TRUE JDM headlights because well..... their JDM. If you sport some Sportmax rims like myself because you like the look then more power to you. If you spend 3 grand on a set of new wheels + the 500 to get them here JUST so you can be accepted into true VIP or JDM then you have compensation issues above and beyond my understanding. Now if you really truly love that look and your doing it for that reason then great.
The main point should be that however you look at it if you like your box for yourself and don't need the reassurance of 10 online randoms to tell you how cool your box is that you have a Sick xB.
I would rather start my own style then bring the styles here from overseas.

a noob here and I cant believe some of what I just read about people's idea of what VIP is. Maybe two guys here have it right.
People need to learn the distinction between "VIP" and "VIP-styled" before they just start spouting off about things they dont know.
There are the accepted platforms that are VIP by definition, which are ALL from either nissan or toyota, i.e. Celsior, Aristo, President, Cedric, Gloria, Cima, Crown, (and a few more that I cant think of) and are ALL BIG BODY SEDANS that are wide and low. THAT is the foundation of VIP. Even if I left my GS400 stock, it would still be VIP.
All the other goodies such as deep dish wheels, camber, stretched tires, interior goods, ICE, Chrome (LOL) which has ZERO to do with VIP, exhaust, body kit......these are all just icing on the cake.
There is also a wilder side of VIP (which I know wont catch on here) with extreme camber, crazy borderline-bosozoku custom bodywork, crazy exhaust, wide body kits.
Now, "VIP-style" can be achieved with a number of other vehicles if done correctly, but PARTS ALONE DO NOT MAKE A CAR VIP!, Only "VIP-styled". Sheesh. Been explaining this to people for few years now.

Anyway, my bad, I thought you were telling me to shut my big fat yapper. i do get long-winded on occasion.
technically? Fabulous is not VIP at all. Try luxury. Noblesse? Euro style. My kit. VIP. Spirits? VIP I don't care if the car is a Toyot or a Hyundai. If it's got that sinister loo of a VIP styled car, good enough for me. But a tack on hangin off the car eBay special muffler and a tray table don;t cut it.
