Exclamation VIP security system-install problem

I installed the factory security system today. I went over all my connections and searched and searched Google and the forums.

With everything hooked up, I get the ABS light, AIRBAG light, passenger window won't work, drivers door won't lock or unlock with remote, car will not shift from Park.

When I arm the system the doors try to lock twice. The Scion Security light does nothing. I don't think I missed any harness connections, but my symptoms say that I did. Any suggestions where I should start looking? I've checked all my fuses.

This is for a 2006 Scion XB, and the security system specifies that it is the one for use with the steering wheel audio controls

I did replace the green/white wire from the white harness under the steering column with the one in the new harness.

Please help
Dennis

Man Dennis, I wish I could but I do not have a security system for my box. I would definitely get it checked out by a professional because it sounds like you are having TONS of issues, good luck to ya!

Thanks man.
I unhooked most of the plugs on the drivers side so I could drive to work this morning. I know it sounds like I have a lot of separate problems but I'm looking for anything these problems have in common. Should I be looking at the security ECU? The security system is PnP but there was that one green/white wire under the steering column I had to switch out. I feel pretty confident that I did it right.

Suggestions?
Thanks
Dennis

yeah, still sounds too complicated for my non-existent ECU knowledge, definitely contact a professional if this thread stays dead.

I removed the whole wire harness today and brought it in to inspect it. I checked it out best I could. I tested all the "pass-throughs" for continuity and they were fine. My problems seem too random for it to be the security ecu, I think. Now that I've removed it everything in my car is working properly.

Anyone?

Ok, I figured out how to check the diode in the harness and it was fine.

Anyone think of anything yet?

Thanks

do you guys both have the 06.5 with audio controls since the alarm is for the 06.5 specifically?

i have issues with the alarm too. i have a 6.5 with the audio controls-i installed the factory system myself and it SEEMED that went ok-> now my remote only works to arm the system-> when i use the remote to unlock/disarm the system the alarm just goes off-> i have to use the key to manually unlock/disarm system-> i did have that problem with air bag, traction control, etc etc lights staying but my car would still start-> what i forgot tot do was re-connect the passenger air bag and everything worked after i did that-> i don't think install instructions call for the removal of the passenger air bag but i had to because everything was so tight i couldn't fit my hands anywhere to install the harness
