Wet Okole seat covers (pics)
Just installed my new Wet Okole neoprene seat covers. They look great (your opinion on my color choice may vary
), are very comfy, and feel very well made. I just hope they hold up well to the test of time. Installation was a little tough, but nothing a little patience and tugging couldn't cure.
Seat covers were pricey - a little over $200 - still haven't decided whether or not they're worth it, but I'll try to enjoy them without thinking of the $.
My pics stink, but it'll give you an idea of what they look like...

They look pretty good. How long did the install take? I like the color choice. Contrasting colors are cool on SSM. Overall, good job!

Thanks for the comments.
Installation wasn't *too bad*. Getting the side straps to go in between the plastic sides of the seat (height/lumbar/recline controls) and the cushion was a pain in the butt, and I actually snapped off a plastic piece from under the seat by accident (doesn't seem to be any ill effects). For the seat back portion, it took me a while to figure out how to unhook the existing Scion seat cover to allow the Wet Okole's to pass between the seat back and seat cushion, but once that was done, it was easy.
Overall, the driver's side, which I did first, took about 20 minutes, and the passenger side took about 10 minutes. Keep in mind, this included a lot of small adjustments to line it up right and take out any slack.
Oh, also, FYI, for the TC, the headrest color is supposed to match the color insert color (it's cut from the same template). I spoke to Wet Okole and requested black headrests, which they finally conceded to after a lot of begging on my part.
I don't think I would've liked red headrests at all! High marks for Wet Okole's customer service! Also, after ordering, they actually mailed to me a couple of strips of material so i could confirm my color choice. To me, that's going the extra mile to make sure my order was correct. Nice...
But the price...ugh the price...!!!
