you'll have better luck taking various items at random off your car.

Installation is very easy! Basic instructions are included with every product as well as all necessary hardware besides the tape.

Do I need any special skills or tools?

No special skills are required. All you need is a small piece of electrical tape and your self.

Will this devide fit on my vehicle?

If your vehicle is equipped with electronic fuel injection, it will. 99% of cars manufactured after in or after 1990 are equipped with a fuel injection. It will however not work on turbocharged vehicles.
That is great. Very entertaining though

I'm not making fun of the person who started the thread.. just the add posted on ebay You don't want any part of that. First, as mentioned, its a scam.. second, the resistor they are selling costs about a nickel a peice at any electronics supply. Have tons of them at my house.. not quite a $5 item.

ok.....this has been covered at least 15 times in the past 6 months..... use the search button......

what it does,

the resistor plugs into your Mass Airflow Sensor and "shows" your ECU an air intake temperature that is alot lower than the actual intake temp. As we all know, colder air is more oxygen dense and oxygen is what burns in the combustion chamber (when mixed and compressed with fuel). Since the ECU "sees" a colder air temp, it dumps more fuel into the chamber with the air that is supposed to be colder but really isn't......the result is a car that runs rich and burns more fuel than needed......
