Default What does this do?

Does anyone have an idea what this does? I know it's a power source of some sort. It's next to the hood latch button.

It could be for the diagnostic computer. You know, the one the dealerships plug in to check for codes. That would be my guess.

That's my first guess on a tC, too - just like the Squirrel said.

(Looks like quite a bit different pin-out, though...)

yep.....it's the diagnostic plug......

if you ever throw a CEL or any warning light, or something isn't running right, go to any mechanic with a diagnostic computer and they'll be able to tell you what's wrong with that computer plugged into that plug.....
