if you want to get some hardcore low freq bass action try the following. I have tried all of these on my 18" sub (18" sub is for my DJ PA not my car)

HOUSE MUSIC -

Daft Punk - Steam Machine
Daft Punk - Oh Yeah
Basement Jaxx - Wheres Your Head At
Chuck Love - Soul Symphony
Martin Solveig - Mr President (Mr President In The House Mix)

HIP HOP -
Beastie Boys - Paul Revere
Pharrell Feat. Gwen Stefani - Can I Have It Like That
M.I.A. - 10 Dollar

DRUM AND BASS!!!!

Konflict - Messaiah
Pendulum feat $pyda & Tenor Fly - Tarantula
Dieselboy - Alantic State

Big Beat -

Kylie Minogue - Slow (The Chemical Brothers Remix)
Fatboy Slim - Star 69
The Chemical Brothers - Block Rocking Beats
The Chemical Brothers - Get Yourself High

TRY ANYTHING WITH A 808 KICK! MOST OF THE OLD SCHOOL BEASTIE BOYS STUFF IS COVERED WITH THE 808

If you want something to tickle the ears, pick up Disciples of Annihilation - NYC Speedcore.

200+ BPM of gut-wrenching, ear-splitting, reality-altering turbo beats that will shame all other competitors. When it gomes to hard and fast hitting base, choose Hardcore/Gabber artists.

Accept no substitutes.

i take it i am the only Crystal Method fan on the boards this morning
Get Busy Child (I guess I didn't know)

Nope, I love Crystal Method, and that was a song I had in mind too. They have alot of good bass songs really. Something else to try is DJ Shadow Stem/ Long Stem great hard fast bass.

The Crystal Method - High Roller

This song has bass notes that sit between 18 and 40Hz and is gauranteed to shake your bones.

Try it and report back here after you have had some fun with this song.

I have heard back in the day that the true test of a system and with a fairly significant one note hit is the 1812 overture. The cannon blast is said to be the nemesis of subs.
