Default whats up with my idiot lights

okay aboutr 3 months ago I went and go some 18 inch wheels, since then the idiot lights Trac off , ABS, BRAKE, And i think VCS. i know that there are 4 lights total . Now for some reason they come on more often. They used to go off after sitting at a stop light for 10 seconds or more. i just drove 200 miles today and they were on for about 150 miles of the trip. Does anyone know what the deal might be with my car.

Best thing to do would be to take it in to the deaership and let them run a dianostic check on it. That will tell you what the problem is. Mine was coming on last week and found out it was runing to lean from installing a custom CAI the air sensor was installed wrong on the piping. The lights are there to tell you something is wrong.

What light was coming on??? My vcs light started coming on today, but it says that this light regards traction not something to do with the oxygen sensor. Just had my car lowered and a AEM intake as well. Anyone help us out with this???

On mine it was the VCS, TRAC OFF and the CHECK ENGINE lights that were coming on and it was all caused by the sensor on the Cold Air Intake. When we built the CAI the sensor wasn't deep enough in the Piping. Diagnostic checks kept telling us that the engine was running to lean and the lights would come on after about 30 seconds of engine running. After re-welding the sensor and re-setting all of the codes. It has been working fine.TAKE THE CAR TO THE DEALER. I also have 18" tires and wheels and have never had a problem with lights caused by them.

alright i have an apointment at the dealer on the 13th. i am just worried that my wheels might have caused it because all of the light have something to do with tires. the lights are VSC, TRAC OFF, ABS and BRAKE.

well they are going to be talking to Bell tire. becuase i went there 3 times to find out what the rubbing was all about. they said it was nothing the first time. the second time they just grinded down a small part of the swing arm. and the 3rd time they said it was the brake drum. well they said they are going to try and get bell tire to pay for it.. so well see

That is rediculous!!!! How incompetent can a professional tire company be to not recognize tires that are rubbing. I can understand if it's someone who never has put aftermarket alloys on a car before, but they do it day in and day out. To have it be so severe that it actually cut through the ABS wire is just insane.

Good luck getting them to pay for it. Let us know how it goes.
