a) we (ok, I) appreciate your posts

b) any info about interior cathodes will/should be in 'xB -ice/interior'

c) best article, go to features > tech, scroll to 'LED and Cathode DIY/install', highlight it, and press the button at the bottom of the scroll box. an awesome tech article will open in a new winder.

d) does not cotain info about running LEDs to vents, but you can use the info regarding the center console in 'AC control color change', also in teh tech section

Cathodes will be tough in vents. Try LEDs.

Ok so what is the biggest difference between LED and Cathode, i've heard cathodes last longer and are brighter,,,,,, and also, what one is easier to hook up to your battery? ie... i get so confused with polarity and grounding and all that ****

cathodes: lengths from 4" to over 12"

LED: typical size 3mm-5mm

wiring to the battery is just that - wiring. makes no difference whether you are hooking up LEDs or cathodes. the LED/cathode install tech I mentioned earlier is very clear on the wiring nuances...in fact, I followed it to the letter on my install.

I'd go with SVC.com. I ran a switch from the fuse box and just ran wires under the dash, door sills, under the seats and to the hatch. you may only extend the wire from the power source to the power inverter.

I've bought all my cathodes from 'em in the past. From 4" to 12". Too bad I've gone to LED.

I bought my CCT from oznium.com they were easy to install look great and a cheap mod. It's like 6.50 for a pair of 12" tubes so I bought 2 set's and did under dash and under seat. I'll get pic's if your interested.

stick: how did you get your headlights to be SO blue with the cathodes? I have a 4" cathode on each headlight and it's only this bright:

I mounted one 4" cathode to one side of each headlight (the edge closest to the grille) but would like them to be brighter.

I've gotten LED's with the little holder things at both Advance Auto Parts and Autozone. It's like $8 for 3 of em (prewired with resistor & has the holder). If no place around there has them, check out oznium.com. Super customer service and great prices...I bought my cathodes there.
