Default Where should I mount my amps?

I'm thinking I might put them under the front seats. Two on one side, one on the other, with the crossover mounted above it? Has anybody fabricated some custom aluminum brackets? Otherwise, I'm going to see if I can fit all three in a lift-up amp rack in the back.

Any ideas?

The brackets will be to separate the amps and give them airspace

you can put one each underneath the seats, you'll have to move the jack on the drivers side, but that's it.

naa, search around. THere are 3 posts out there, 2 have Z brackets and 1 has a C bracket install. Two amps under one seat and the sub under another. If you have Comps, the xover's go right there.

What ever you do dont put them in the little cubby in the back. The last shop did that and it melted and my amp got so hot it would cut out.

I forgot to mention something about my amps. They're Precision Power Art Series .2 and they're about 10 years old. The heatsinks are drilled out for liquid cooling, you just have to add some fittings and hoses... any ideas now? ;)

I have had plenty PPI amps. Unless you are really pushing them there is no need for liquid cooling, it was just a cool selling feature.

Be careful with those amps, they are pretty rare now. Great amps though. Good Luck

Heh... I just bought one off eBay in case I need it. I have the old 30 band EQ sitting in a box too. That might go into the xB

I thought about those. I also thought about their sub enclosure, but it's just too small for my sub, and I want everything to be low profile and stealthy.
