Default Who Has This??? ***UPDATE***

Any bad things about it and what are the good things about it? I'm a bit skeptical cause it's a Sony but some of you might really like Sony...help me out.

I gave in and bought this Sony. I really like the look of it and since it has silver in it, it'll look great with the trim around the radio and HVAC controls.
I'll have pics up when it's installed...

I bought an explode deck about 5-6 years ago for my old sentra. It was o.k. After about two years it started skipping on some of my cds. I took it to best buy because I bought the extended service plan (BIG MISTAKE). They only cleaned it and never fixed it. I bought my wife a pioneer for her old cavalier in 2000, got rid of the car in 04 when we bought her xB and didn't have one problem with it in four years. My opinion, Sony explode decks are crap. If you are on a budget and want good quality by a pioneer.

Yeah, Pioneer is the way to go. I've had mine for about 2 years and it's build quality is just outstanding. Sorry for the advertisement, but I'm selling my Pioneer Premier deck pretty soon. This is what I have here.

The left-of-center white dial around the **** kind of replicates the left-of-center white gauge pod in the xB ;)

Sony radios actually arent that bad these days. They have a good amount of features and the pricing isnt that expensive.

I never had much luck with sony car audio equipment. got a couple of the older models and it only lasted for so long. I'm not sure if sony has stepped it up since but since I always go with Clarion head unit, infinity mids/high speakers and JL amps and subs on my previous cars and never had a problem... i will be looking to do something similar with the box

Wow. I didn't think that Sony had so much issues with their HUs. I might have to rethink my decision on getting it...
