Why buy an armrest?
When you can make you own. This took me about 2 hours and less than $12. I bought the vinyl at the local fabric store and already had some leftover MDF from building my speakerbox. I think it cam out pretty nice.

Way to go RaginCajun! It's nice to see others making their own console. I made mine almost 2 years ago and still love it. Nobody can tell it's home made. Plus it adds some nice storage space.

The total demensions for the armrest is 14in high by 10in wide by 4 3/4in wide.
This is the demensions for the pieces. All thickness MDF I used were 1/2in.
2- 10x14 this is the large sides
2- 3 3/4x4 this is the front and back
1- 3 3/4x10 this is the bottom
1- 4 7/8x10 1/2 this is the top
2- small hinges
1- yard of dense foam
1- yard of black vinyl
50- 1in wood screws
1- can of spray adhesive
1- drill and screwdriver
1- tablesaw
Once you have all the pieces it should go together easily. Each piece fit perfectly for me since MDF is a true 1/2in. I used 1in wood screws and drilled pilot holes to prevent splitting. I used the foam to cover the MDF first and attached it with spray adhesive.
The only modification I had to do was bring the overall size of the MDF down to 1/4in at the bottom because its to thick to fit between the seats and the factory console. I did this about 4in up the entire 10x14 pieces. I used a table saw for the project. I wish I had taken some pics before covering it but once you get started you will see how easy it goes together. I bought my vinyl from Hancock Fabrics and they had many colors to choose from. I hope this helps someone.
It is not bolted in it can be removed in 5 seconds. It doesnt get in the way of the rear cupholder or the e-brake.
