Wiring Harness
Does anybody know if the speaker setup for the Toyota Echo is the same as the Xb's. If so could you use that wiring harness adapter for the Xb's speakers? Also are there different wiring harness adapters for the dash, front door, and rear speakers or are they all the same?
Since tou are replacing the factory speakers why don't you unsolder the factory plugs from the factory speakers and wire them to your new speakers. Then just plug in like before.
I have replaced all my speakers and it is easy to do. The dash speakers are the easiest . The front door speakers require you to remove the speaker and cut out the factory speaker cone and magnet. Then you can put the new speaker in its place. I know it sounds crazy but it does work. Otherwise, buy the adapter from Scosche and a wiring adapter that you connect to the new speaker to connect to the factory harness.
The rear speakers are treated exactly the same as the door speakers except they are 5.25".
Hope this helps.
