Wiring help.... what to do?
I just recently ordered the edi 6000 component speakers with the nine.2 amp. Sometime in the near future i will be ordering the 13ov2 subwoofer with another nine.2 amp. I want to do all the wiring while i install my component speakers and have it ready for the install of my sub and amp in the future. I was wondering what kind of wiring i would need to buy. I am very new to all this stuff so ANY feedback is appreciated.
Would a 4 Gauge kit work for all that? Would this work? http://www.cardomain.com/item/LITSXPK4DANL
Thanks in advance.
Greg.

Thanks for the quick reply...
I was searching through ebay and found this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW
Looks good except its missing the RCA Cables and speaker wires.
I'm gonna have about 600 watts rms total w/ my two amps so i think this should work fine.
What do you guys think

Go to Walmart and get a Scosche 4 gauge wiring kit....its around 30 bucks and should include everything you need for two amps. Even has a distribution block.
This should be the only thing you ever buy at Walmart car audio related.

Wireing help.....what to do.
Bag-boy is good on eBay! You should also check out hifisoundconnection on eBay the also have 4 Gauge with the RCA cords. IMO 4 Gauge under 1000 watts is fine. They have Stinger Kits with RCA for around $50.00.

Wiring help.....what to do.
The first kit from Stinger is good, are you doing 2 amps? I noticed that it had a two output dist box. For less than a 1000 watts 4 gauge is good. The problem with eBay is you get pretty good prices but they rip you off on shipping. I would stick with Stinger, it is a good company.

Cool! I would do 4 gauge from the battery with a fuse to the connection block then 8 gauge to the amps and ground. I am sure you can daisy chain your amps so the longest the RCA cords will be from the receiver to the back of the car. I would say 12 feet RCA should be OK and the the amp to amp RCA should be a few feet, remember do not go cheap on RCA'S because you want the cleanest signal.
Good Luck

Please be careful with your wiring!
I've seen too many cars get burned up because of stupid wiring jobs!
Some tips!
DO NOT put the fuse in until everything is DONE!
The exception would be testing prior to putting all your interior back together
DO NOT run wires AROUND grommets!!
They aren't there to look pretty. They keep your wires from
chafing on the metal body, wearing through, shorting, starting
a fire, and turning your care into a nice pile of molten plastic.
DO NOT connect wires that aren't in use yet!
Don't connect power lines or RCAs or anything unless it's
got a start point and end point. Having live power leads to
shorts, having live RCA leads to noise and possible damages.
If you want to have your wires run for future hardware, feel
free, just don't connecting anything, tape them off to something
near by to keep everything nice and happy and in place.
ALWAYS use the recommended fuses. Don't bump up the
fuse rating if you have a problem, SOLVE the problem.
Don't skimp out, cut corners, or just stuff things in. You will
either burn something up, or get so annoid you'll just have
to redo it right later.
If you aren't sure about any of this, get help!
