a WOPPING $600!!! *tear*
Okay, so because I am the biggest idiot in the world, I tried installing the bbist reverse gauge myself on my xb. Unfortunately, I accidently broke the pointer on the speedometer. Now instead of stopping at zero, it goes down until it hits my fuel pointer. I took it into the dealership to ask if they can fix it, but they said they havta change the whole gauge for $600! PLEASE!!! If anyone knows areas aroud souther california where I can get my speedometer fix and staying at zero again... it would be a great appreciation =) I am soo bummed out right now.... soo bummed out....
To reset the guages on my Tc (cause i had the same prob) what you do is set the speed needle pointing to the highest speed and turn it counterclockwise (towards zero) and it should hit a point where you cannot turn it anymore. When you hit that point, without twisting it, pull the needle back off completely and reinsert it with the needle pointing exactly to zero (or wherever it sits on the XB's). After that it should no longer go below zero and be calibrated right. It also works the same on the rest of the needles.
Hope that helps.

$178, how does that sound? BTW, your F-up is the reason why i dont mess with my gauges!
take the cluster to the dealer, so they can fix the mileage on your new one....

that trade motion sites sucks ___.
they have about any part you can imagine listed, but you will NEVER get a response from anyone on buying anything.
I practically threw money at them, half-dozen times, nothing. They're worthless, don't bother.
