Default xA stereo install

Does anyone know where I can find instructions on removing the dash around the stereo in an xA. I've searched this site and others with no luck.

thanks

take a small(very small) screwdriver that has the tip wrapped in electrical tape and start prying at the vents and work your way around the bezel of the radio. be careful and dont pull too hard or you could break it. you might want to remove the ***** for the ac and remove the two nuts behind there and remove all of that trim just to be on the safe side. if this doesnt help, chaeck the TECH section. there are alot of dash removal articles there.

Got it. For all the other xA owners, You need to remove the two long silver trim pieces on the center console using the tape wrapped screwdriver. Remove the ac ***** and unscrew the ac assembly - there are 4 screws, one on each side under the silver trim and one each under the left and right ac *****. Once that is done use the wrapped screwdriver to pry the silver trim around the radio itself. I went inbetween the the left side of the radio and the trim. The trim and ac panel will pop off together as a whole assembly.
