Default Installed Navigation System, lost other scion xb features

Awesome setup!! I've just installed the lower end version of the Pioneer Navigation Sytem - Avic-d2. It's a great system, yet I've lost other great features that scion offers. No longer am I able to use the Volume control on "source" button on the steering wheel and my the Ipod controls on the avic-d2 suck! (this is after spending more bills on the Ipod adapter for the Avic-d2).

There's got to be a way to wire the steering wheel functions back to the Avic-d2. HELP ME REGAIN THE SCION GREATNESS!!!
