xB Fiberglass sub box for 12" XXX
All masked off and ready to lay glass:
First layer of glass:
After 3 layers, popped from the car:
Base trimmed, fleece stretched over mounting rings, fleece soaked in resin:
Another 3 layers on top of the fleece and mounting hole cut:
A pic of it in the car. Sorry about the quality, it's a camera phone:
A shot of the sub:
Another angle:
A shot of the sub in action:
I'll have more pics in the next couple of days of the enclosure covered and the amp rack.
BTW, this is my first attempt at fiberglassing, not nearly as hard as I thought it would be.

It took me a weekend, working pretty much all day, both days. I really took my time making sure there were no air bubbles and everything was good. It's not really all that hard, just VERY time consuming, especially if you're doing a sub box 'cause you have to do so many layers. My box used almost 2 gallons of resin and 6 packages of chop mat. It's really cool doing it because you know that its one of a kind, not just something you get at BB.

Fiberglass is not hard at all, most of the time spent on glassing goes to waiting for the stuff to cure, and sanding... wait till you get to the sanding part...
Good Job on the enclosure! Can't wait to see the finished results.

It will run anywhere between 1 and 2 hundred bucks. I was closer to 2 because I needed 2 gallons of resin and had to buy a dremel.
I just got done carpeting it, it came out pretty good with only one seam, where you can't really see it. Heres the pics:
