Default XB SPEAKER SIZE

I was thinking about swapping out the stock speakers with aftermarket and running them off an amp when i install my subs and was wondering what size this speakers are? Any suggestions on brand to go with i was thinking infinity or memphis. I have 2 10 inch jl audio subs. also anybody one anything similar and stick with the stock radio just wondering if this sounds good with the stock headunit.
thanks in advance....

Default speaker size

Both front and rear speakers are 5-1/4".
Tweeters are 1-1/2" or 2", I forgot.

You'll need speaker adapters for the front door, I recommend getting a set of speaker adapters from Scsoche... part #SAT6. The factory front doors are riveted to door, you'll need the speaker adapter to mount your aftermarket speakers.

Instead of adapters, he can cut out the stock speaker from the stock mount and then use that for his aftermarket speakers. I know some people here have done this with good results.

Front 6.5"
Rear 5.25"

That's what I did.. works great.

And I have 4" Infinity Kappa's in my dash. I think that's the biggest you can go there.

I put 6.5 in the door with no adaptor of any kind, and lotso dynamat!

4's in the dash, but had to modify the speaker to get it to fit. The tweeter height will be your nemesis. Get some nice low ones. Don't forget the bass blockers!

BTW i put 5.25 in the back easy, 6.5 could have been done.

Do you cut out the factory speaker without removing the mount? How did you cut it out and with what?
