Default XM radio install

Hey guys,
I don't actually have a scion, I have an Echo - but same idea.
I just purchased this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3738%26fvi%3D1

I want to get an XM radio, but I am not sure about how to hook it up. I have only seen satellite radio done through FM modulation with a different, and seperate satellite radio ' head unit'. As I understand it, the stock Scion head unit can do the decoding for the satellite radio, and I can change stations with that instead of an external unit.
like this one:

will something like this do what I am looking for?

seems like that would work, i opted for a removable unit (audiovox xc9) that i can use in the house as well.
I already had the USA TOY that i plugged in the back of the stock HU to plug in my iPod 5g. It has 2 RCA plugs... so i can use both iPod and XM radio now!

but that would work if you really would rather to use the HU to control the stations.

Personally I like the 5 line display the Audiovox unit has, especially since it's a blue display.

If you wanna use the oem Pioneer/Scion headunit to control and display the XM radio, then yes, you have to buy that kit from your local Scion dealership or TRDSparks.com.
