Default xm on stock 6 disc?

currently i have the stock 6disc pioneer changer in my car and it has the sat emblem on it, not xm or sirius. i noticed that xm has a pioneer system that allows you to use your stock head unit to operate the xm, not an external xm device. i was told by an audio person that possibly my sat emblem stands for some option available from the dealer or pioneer where i could recieve sat channels on their system. im hoping mine is the former. because i would like to be able to add xm to my box without having to mount another item on or near my dash. i like the stealth lo pro look. less is more. does any audiofile out there have a definitive answer? please

'Sat' is short for 'Satelite.' My tC has the same button. XM radio is Satellite Radio, and is an available option on the tC.

Yes, you can do it.

Default xm

my real question was whether its a straight plug in application. because i know i can buy a sat tuner that can play through your fm radio, but thats not what i want. i am hoping to tune my xm using only my pioneer 6 disc stock head unit. i think thats what you guys were getting at right?
