I just got sirius, mostly because i'm just very, very used to it. we've had it in at least one car since late 2002 and at the time it was better than xm, so i've just stuck with it. Since the family now has two mine is $7 a month, so for that I don't really care much about 64 vs. 128

i've discovered having 180 channels doesn't mean anything's necessarily ON. But now that I have my presets, i can usually find something to listen to if I want some variety over my CDs and iPod.

I had XM since it came out and got rid of it for Sirius last year. by far the programming on Sirius is better.

and now you can get Playboy radio on Sirius for free! and let me tell you something, they get crazy on the PLayboy channel.

Default XM

You have to go with XM RADIO. They have OPIE and ANTHONY on HIGH VOLTAGE 202. Howard Stern is a babbling dolt! Sirrus stinks and I don't like him!

well I turned on the cse on my head unit and that seems to have made a huge difference with the xm radio quality.

Sirius is great. i love the selection of music and that Howard Stern show is on all the time now. Now I can listen to him on the way to school and on the way back. The only thing that i don't like about siruis is that they don't have Baseball. but they make up for it with the ESPN channels.

I would have to say to save you money and burn mp3 cd's. But if satellite radio is a must, go with Sirius. It has better stations and less repetitive music than that of XM in my opinion.

I had Sirius installed in my Xb from the factory and I have to say that the quality is better than alot of the 96kbps MP3 discs ive burnt. I cant live without it anymore, I hate to go someplace in a car without it and have to listen to FM radio....as for XM I dont have any experiance with it so I cant compare them.

I wound up getting Sirius after comparing them on the web with free 3-day trial accounts on each. Sirius had a better selection for what I was looking for. I had to fiddle around with the sound settings to get it to sound acceptable.

I got the unit that connects to the OEM HU because some punks around here make their living jacking people's equipment at least twice a month. All up and down the street you see broken glass and garbage bagged windows :\ If I ever see them someone's going to be missing teeth and it's not going to be me.

I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but I for one would be willing to pay a premium above and beyond the normal monthly fees for a signal that was at a higher resolution. XM is great but as an ****-retentive audiophile type I want better sound. Mark
