instead of purchasing these halogen bulbs, buy some real HID's instead...they're really worth the 400

Too late for me--I've had HIDs forever.

First of all, I'm not comparing them to HID at all so I'm not really sure where that came from. Someone asked to post a pic of the output and that's the one I had so sorry if my distance was not acceptable for you.

Second of all, They are $33 for two pairs compared to $800 for 2 sets of HID lights. They're not even in the same league as HID and I dont have any illusions about that. If everyone could afford the real Fabulous kit I'm sure they would buy the real thing, and you and your F.A.B Style kits would be out of business.

The point is, there are some new yellow bulbs available, for those who are interested - they offer a different look than the hyperwhite that most people are rocking today, and I want to let people know about it. That's it. I'm glad you had a chance to show off your HIDs to everyone and show how bright HIDs are, because that's definately news to everyone on Scionlife.

Hmm. Nokya lights, Nokia phones. I guess the company spelled its own name wrong(sarcasm).

I don't know anyone who has ever been pulled over for their headlights. Its more of a, if you are a jerk and the cops want to harass you kind of thing. those blue valve stem covers and windshield washers aren't sae/dot approved, and look at how many people have them now.

I think you shouldn't have any problems. Hell, look at the old school cars, their original halogens are yellow as ____!

I want 9000k HID's, they look sick!

Infiz: Any chance I can get you to convert that vid to .mpg so us Mac/Linux users can watch?

While 9000k look "cool"...which is like super super blue purple plasma looking...

They actually output less usable light on road surfaces than stock halogens.

Stay below 7000k with the kelvin rating--and you should be safe as far as being more bright than stock.
