Default 2006 xB Koni Shocks for Comfort

Could someone of devine knowledge and wisdom please tell me specifically which Koni rear shocks are best for my 2006 xB?
I have read a lot of messages about the Koni shocks but remain unclear on the best for the 2006 xB.
Is it the 'special" red or the "Sports" yellow?
Where can I get the shocks?
My goal is to make my xB ride more comfortable.

Thanks a lot!

They only make the yellows for our car. LTB Motorsports has a pretty good deal. Try the rears first if you have lowered your car. The yellows are adjustable... the reds are not to my knowledge.

Why the rears first?

If you search, that is what most people on the forum seem to prefer. I know that my car rides like crap with stock shocks and Tanabe DF210s. The rear feels really loose, especially if you hit a bump. You can change the rears out in less than 30 minutes. Of course, if you have the funds, then certainly replace the front and rear...

if you are looking for a "lower cost" way to smooth out your ride please look at my post here Monroes and then go to this link for a lot of good info click here
hope this helps, I spent a lot of time on this, and I didnt want to spend the $$$ on the yellow konis (and I wont ever adjust the suspension, another reason to not go with konis)...

Default xB rear shocks

I appreciate each and everyone of you for the responses.
Looks like LTB Motorsports for a supplier and the yellow shocks.
But I will also look into the Monroes.
I am doing the back first because of $$.

Thanks to all.

Your 2006 has the same suspension as the 2004s and the 2005s, so anything anyone else has successfully installed on their xB will fit on yours.

Moved to CC.

Because the stock rear shocks are seem to be harsher than the stock front struts and they are also cheaper and easier to replace......Of course the full set would be even nicer....
