Airlift Compressor Fuses Question viair 380c
For the last week I have been battling the fuse for my compressor. For 6months it ran fine with a 15 amp blade fuse, suddenly last week it blows this fuse after about 10 minutes. Airlift says that it should have a 30amp, even sent me a copy of the directions to prove their point. So what is everyone else running?

i believe the 380 draws more than 15 amps at its peak..u should run a 30 amp fuse b/c the higher psi the compressor is working at, the higher amperage draw..also check your connections and make sure your ground is good

I rewired everything over the weekend and it still blows 20amp fuses in about the same time. I mainly posted here becuase airlift never seems to have the same answer twice. Thanks for the help guys, I'll throw a 30 in there and see what it does.

sittin pretti mentioned something i forgot to add,...RELAY!!! i dont think u wanna burn a 200 buck compressor. make sure u wire the relay correctly though, search anywhere online for the wiring diagram and you should be set

if you have an amp meter disconect one compressor at a time and let run and take amps.. you may have to much draw or maybe a bad compressor.
