Jim posted up awhile back about the problem and how he fixed it. I believe he just tightened the top nut at the strut tower in the engine bay until the noise went away. I'd be careful of overtightening tho. I'll try to find the link to the post

lay the car out and impact the nuts on.<-----still sounds funny! Mine still rattle and I'm beginning to hate them more. Easystreet hasn't been all that helpful anyway. I just keep crankin down on them. the rattles come back. ready to dump them for somethng I can mount my Cusco camber plates to.

Is the noise loud when it happens? Also, isn't the place where u put the fittings into the bags up near the top of the airstrut? Seems like it would make more sense to have it near the bottom of the strut so it's easier to run the lines. I guess u have elbows into it facing down right? Cause the line has to run up the strut towers from what i can tell

Pickin's are pretty slim right now. Not a lot of options out there. Either you buy the Airlift, spend the money on a complete Air Runner system, or get the Universal Air bags. Of course you can also look for a different JDM manufacturer and spend even more money.
The only other option is to get the "Fabricator" version of the Airlift strut that comes unassembled. Then you have to weld it all up yourself as well as painting it. Even then, there is no guarantee you won't have the same issues (or more) that you did with the standard struts.
I am personally in the very infant stages on trying to put another option together. Right now it is only in my head. And being as my wife's xB is a daily driver, it isn't the best test subject. If and when I get a working prototype up and working Scionlife will be the first to know.

Ok, i'm going to contact a company that did a guy's xB @ Scion Exposed, his front struts looked a lot better quality then the ES ones, and they had the port for the airline at the middle of the strut (the platform where the bag starts on the struts). It also looked like the bags themselves were the "dual convoluted" (or w/e they're called) bags, like the SS bags i have on the rear. I'll post up what i find out when i find it out
