Oh for anyone wanting to know about if these springs will affect camber........

I went and had my car alighned yesterday and found that my camber is 0.5 degree too negative.

So yes, these springs DO affect your camber

Yup, my alignment was a bit out as well...

had to actually pay someone to do that...i wish there were an easier do it yourself way to get aligned....

either way it was and will be worth it to save the tires...

get that alignment done after spring installation!

Ur toe may be off after installation. My toe was a few degrees off on both wheels. It'll throw it off a little when you remove the struts. As for caster, no. Removing the struts in no way affect the steering knuckles' KingPin axis. So ur return to center is unaffected.

I got another question. I just ordered an 06 and i have my Tanabe df210's from my echo (for xB not xA) and my wheels + tires waiting for the xB to come in (2 weeks w00t!)...

Anyway, should i wait till i break the car in before installing these things? Can i at least put the wheels on? I'm going to be REALLY nervous just jacking up the car to change the wheels, let alone suspension. Are there any drawbacks to puting the springs on before i break it in? I think i'll be too low for my community anyhow, speed bumps at school are friggin soldiers, they'll eat my sideskirts i think . I want to save up for bags, but will putting my wheels on be ok?

Would i need to get my alignment checked? Their 15". thx

you can change your wheels anytime, the springs i dont see why you couldnt put them in right away either... if im wrong somebody please correct me. i put springs on within a month or two of getting my car. roughly 400 miles or less on it.

sweet! I'm gonna get my wheels balanced first cause i think a few of them might be off.

I'm still not sure about the springs. Gonna roll stock heigh first, maybe measure the speedbumps and see if i'll clear them first. The last thing i want to hear is my brand new box bottoming out especially with under 500 miles on it! >_<;

(bags look better every day, until i think about blown bags lol)

OH another question. How is the ride with the df210's on the stock xB shocks? How much of the bump stops did you all cut off? Is there anyplace i can buy the bumpstops from? My tanabe's didn't come with them? Are there bump stops on the rear shocks?

-thx

/\/\ You cut the bump stops that are inside the strut assmebly. You cut about 1" of them. They ride pretty well on stock shocks. Definatley worth upgrading to TRD struts and shocks ($290) if you have the $$$

do any of you with 17s and these springs have problems when going over speedbumps? Every day I have to drive over about nine speedbumps so I'm hoping I won't bottem out.

its SUPER easy . just take a carpet knife or razor blade and cut the bump stop in half. it'll go through it fairly easy so be careful not to cut your fingers...
