any one running 18x 8.5 in the rear on tehir box?
i'm loking into getting staggered rims for next season. does any one have any issues running 8.5 in the rear on a lowered box. the rims i am looking at have a +35 offset for the rear18x8.5 and the front is no problem 18x7.5 +38 offset. thanks for your response. any pics would be nice too.

2 degrees negative camber up front:
3 degrees negative camber in the back:
And because I'm so low on custom TEIN springs for the Wagon coilovers, I had to roll both of my rear fender lips.

In the beginning, Aug2003, I wanted duals, but kept getting laughed at by the person I wanted to do it.
So another year passes, and I had another shop do it where one of my good friends worked at.
Its 2.25 inch from the cat back essentially.

225s will bring the tire sidewalls almost flush, and will rub on the fender lip, especially if you add the OTG rear shim. 18x8.5 +35 fit fine on my xB w/o spacers or shims.
But, because I am so low, I have the camber. Actually, I had the camber before the wheels since I knew I was going to need them anyway.

I ran the exact same setup as brad for a good long while too. Worked and looked great.
Actually, i would recommned on running both OTG spacer and camber shims together. That would push out the wheels more to give you more clerance on the inside.
Effectively you should have a 8.5" +23 offset or so in the rear with both OTG shims installed. Thatll be perfect.
As far as tire sizes, i would stick with a 215/35. You might have issues with the 225 but its nothing that a little rolling cant fix. Its not too hard to roll the fenders. Just take your time with it.

Thanks for the heads up, I have both the camber and spacer kit. I am running the same sportmax 962 18X8.5 35offset the wheels. I bolted them on already but they rub the round raised spot on the swingarm. Also I might need a bit of rolling done, got a wooden bat in hand. we will just wait and see. I'll update on the process

those are the exact rims i was looking at, the sportmax, i have tein s tech and i have the otg, shims and spacers and was wondering if i will have a rubbing problem. before i had just the otg camber shims and 25mm spacers and my 18x17.5 were rubbing really, bad, chewed up my tires. since then i took off the 25mm spacers andpurchased the otg spacers and stacked them on the shims, that solved that problem. i want to go staggerd now, how are the18x8.5 with a drop as low as the s techs? or lower?

I know I'm lower than 2.5 inches of drop. The top of the fender lip is 23 inches above the ground. I can go another inch w/ the custom TEIN springs I have for the coilovers.
The rears rubbed at the 2 and 3 o'clock position before the fender lips were rolled.
They only rub now when the xB is weighed down, and I hit a big dip.
