Well, the point is better stoping power without fade. You could take these to the track and do lap after lap with minimal fade. One lap of hard driving would bring the stock system to its knees. The only problem now is that he has to run large rims to clear the BBK. If you ever wanted to go to the track, you have the brakes, but the larger wheels will hurt the performance do to weight. Not a problem on cars with more HP like an STI, Evo, 350Z, etc. Best bet would have been stock calipers, aggressive pads, slotted rotors, SS lines, and great fluid. These are proven componets that can be had for cheap and yeild great results. They work great on the street and don't mind spirited driving, or a good autox. Plus you can run small, light weight 15s.

Oh well.

Those brakes are definitely high on the bling factor, more form than function, but ya gotta admit they LOOK awesome. As for an xB on a track, bwahhahahahaha...that's kinda like teaching a pig to sing...to each his own though. If it was me, I would've spent that kind of money on a supercharger. At least that way, the car just might be quick enough to need better brakes, lol...
