Default can you do your own alignment?

so i just got the car out of the shop 2 days ago. 60,000 service... got it aligned and whatever else they do at the 60,000.... -200.00$ but that's ok...
today doing 65 mph on the highway its around 9pm'ish and BLAM!!! i hit a pothole i dint even see. my alignment was perfect now it really off... really off my steering wheel i have to keep turned now to go strait...
so to my question can i do my own alignment? do i need specific tools to do it or basic tools are all i need?

Something like that you might want to have them look at - just in case something is bent/damaged.

There are tools out there (and instructions) to do it yourself. TRDSparks actually has Alignment Instructions for the tC on their site... probably for the xB as well.

You can to the string, or measuring method but you hit a pothole so before you do anything I highly recommend you have the suspension looked at, chances are that you broke/bent something causing your alignment to be out of spec.
