Compressor Question
i've been havin a problem lately with my compressor filling my tank when the temp drops below freezing. Usually it takes me about 3-5 minutes to fill a completely empty 5 gal. tank, but it's been takin up to an hour when the temp drops. Any suggestions on what i can do to make it fill faster or anything to look for? Thanks in advance

Also does the compress seem to be getting very very hot? Your airline could have frozen water in them.
Also is you system still airtight? Cold weather can make some fitting leak when they get cold. Very slow leaks can become fast leaks in cold weather.

my compressor is mounted on the underside of the car, steel braided lines to the tank. all the fittings seem fine. The only problem in the lines that i can see is it looks like the line from the tank to my right rear bag has been hitting the exhaust pipe when it's slammed so it's melted a little. but that's bein fixed tomorow. The compressor works fine after the car has been runnin for about a 1/2 hour. I was checkin the compressor today and it didn't seem like it was overheating. The bags seem to be holding air fine, except for the small leak, but like i said, after i change the line i should be good to go again

^i blew that line (to the rear right) due to the same issue, just turned it a different way.
as for the compressor, is your pressure sensor okay? maybe its 'sticking'? then it pumps till it cant anymore...

i don't know a lot about the pressure sensor/how to check it. I'm still a newb at the technical aspect of air ride. That might be the case since no one else has any real problems with their compressor.

What compressor do you have?
If its running for more then 10 min you definitally have a problem.
ONe way to check the pressure switch to see if its bad is with a guage on the tank.
Also if you havea water trap on there and I hoe you do. Open that wide open and let the compressor run to see if theres a good flow of air. If theres barely any air running out of it then you have a problem with your compressor.
Hey I got a brand new VIAIR 450 in the garage if you need it lol.

I'd bet you got frozen water in your compressor line. I might be wrong, but with it being one of the lower parts on you tank side, I'd bet money it is freezing at night.
It could be alot of things, but I'd bet on frozen water.
