Do xB Springs Fit The xA?
#6
hmm, oh well. funny I people get info mixed up so why I asked. Even web sites selling them get info wrong. Also I know my team mate have Tanabe DF210's on this xA said they were 2.0 front and back but either he is right and they do fit or his info is wrong and he's got 1.8 front, 2.0 rear.
no what I mean? Why I am trying to 100% clarify..
Also I wonder why the xA is higher in front?

I can take pictures of the springs, and you can look at your current ones. If they look the same they will work most definitely.
I think the part number is off maybe because of spring rates
I always though xA/xB suspension and drive train was one in the same

For most springs, I don't think they will work. I know that Goldline produces the same springs for both, but other companies have different part numbers for the xB and xA.
And yeah, the xB is heavier, so I'd assume they would have different spring rates to compensate. Technically the springs would probably FIT, but you'd get bad ride quality etc.

Possibly his suspension and his life if the spring goes crazy and decides to give out lol.
Well, probably not since the xA is lighter than the xB. The other way around..I dunno about that lol.

Not coming down on ya, but really wish that in bold letters on the front of SL xA Forum we could place xB Springs should not be placed on xA, nor should cut springs.
Once again for the DF210 crowd Tanabe advises against doing that, trans swapping is not a good idea, the spring rates are different. Be mindful of coil over xB applications as well.
