Drifting xB
#22
i didnt do it intentionally!!! (the drift was intentional not hitting the curb) its gonna be fixed by thursday so no worries and I payed for the repairs my parents didnt pay anything for them

omg i find this offensive, being that i come from a long time of drifting. please keep the drifting to RWD. especially not a box. they are cars not meant to be destroyed by drifting. maybe hitting the curb is a lesson to you not to drift a FWD. not to mention, your too damn young to own a car, especially a xb. discusting. leave the drifting to the real men ;)

LOL...take it easy guys...Live and learn, right? I just hope HE lives AND learns!
BTW, a 240SX? Got another bday coming up? LOL. Or was the xB deemed a POS because the A-Arm broke and the parents want you in something else? Just curious...

Whoaa,
Hold on here, you mean you dirfted your xb and hit the curb
Okay, seriously, I would'nt tried it to my box again because that almost happend to me except that I did it once on a wet road w/ my freind who was drivin his Honda Accord. (of course it was more like e-brake drifting). Any way he made a left turn, counter steer car difts tp left, and made look simple. And I thought, Hey I can do that. So this is what happen:
I speed up @ 35mph
left turn curve comin up 100 ft
as I turn left, pull e-brake slightly still @ 35mph
box rear sways to the right
counter steer right, e-brake slight up
THEN A BEEPING SOUND ALARMS beep beep beep beep beep beep
rear still swaying to the right counter steer lock right
box still maintans a drift to left, but now I'm parkin
Box not stoppin, now my rear is in direction of movment!!!
Traction and SVC light all on
Dumpster near my box, I pull e-brake full and stumpted my brake peddal
THEN all of a sudden, pumping noise from my brakes (ABS Initiated)
Box slowly pulls to a stop. Looked outside, my rear bumper is just 4" away from the dumpster
My freind laughing hard at the corner, boy did i felt like a
Either I did it wrong, or the xB was not designed to be drifted, especialy all those traction and stabilzer gagets that come with it. Oh and one thing, I fogot to turn off the Traction Control

Not that anyone would do it, but is there a way to disable the VSC?
I like to have some fun with the e-brake in empty parking lots in the winter but found out today that even with trac -off the VSC is still fully functional. I know some toyota's disable the VSC when trac is off. Any way of disabling ours?

NO! you don't know how to drive!
okay, you can do crazy sliding with a ff car, but with an xb? NO. just no. Yeah i've seen some ff's and even a little rex drift. but in YOUR or anyones xb on this forum, NO.
But the thing is, even if you do have some fr car like a s2k or something, making your tire screech is not drifting.
Now do yourself a favor, and don't go out and try to drift your box. Or your dads Cadillac or whatever.
Sorry if I sound like I'm yelling my butt off. Its just that when it comes to drifting, I can't take it.
