It's funny that it says "Retail price: $39.99"
Yes, if you were to actually find this knockoff in the store, you'd pay 39.99.
Or if you buy it on eBay, you're still paying 39.99 total because of shipping.
Good one, eBay dude.

Rear sway bar is a must! I highly recommend Progress Tech, but the TRD one is identical. Hotchkis has a new one out that's 2mm thicker than the TRD/Progress.
I also have a Hotchkis strut bar... it's nothing more than something nice looking in the bay. It only really makes a difference during hard cornering, otherwise, it's not really worth it.

I would definitely choose the sway bar over the strut bar, but the strut bar does help as well. If you are a daily driver and actually want to feel a difference when getting off the high way then yes, a sway bar is a much better choice.

sorry to thread steal, but it seems like everyone is saying a rear sway is gonna be more noticable, am i right? Because I can get a new TRD rear sway for about 180 installed, is that worth the $?

If im not mistaken the TRD rear sway is designed from the hotchkis rear sway. You can also buy the Progress which is 2mm thicker and install it yourself, which is VERY easy, and save about $20.00. Then again its up to you, if your not very handy with tools, then get one installed for $180.00, its a good price if you DONT have to touch your car.

As far as paying for installation, if you've ever used a ratchet and you have a secure way of raising the car - floor jack & stands, then you can install it yourself. Otherwise, 20 bucks ain't too bad.

Get the strut brace to prevent the towers from moving an causing stress or fractures that will be impossible to fix from harder corning.
I ordered the toyota strut tower brace, however turns out it is a hos model. I got the hos rear sway bar as it looks beefier. Cant wait to install this weekend.

Strut braces are good for bling and adding weight. Sway bars on the other hand will make a noticeable difference in your car's handling.
