Maybe the lowering springs reduced suspension travel, then hitting hard bumps drove the shocks into their bump stops? Did you hit any hard bumps?

I kept my stock springs, replaced the rear shocks with SensaTracs, and love the way the car handles while still smoothly absorbing severe bumps in the road.

I ask again, by leaking, do you mean that you hear a squeaking noise from the strut(=blown), or what?

^^^I think he means there is strut oil all over it...
Hence, "leaking" or "blown"...

well there, that's all I was asking for. Apparently he couldn't comprehend the simplicity of the question lol.

Oh, this isn't the first time someone's blown their struts with s-techs btw.
