Got underneath the car and decided not to remove the progress sway.
So I have both on right now!
Rear does not lean at all!
Crazy fun...

 

I just installed the Progress RSB. What a difference!

You can add the Whiteline AND the Progress?!?? How does it mount? How much better than just the Progress?

The combined sway bars are rediculous.
It doesnt do anyting for your ride though...very rough.

If both are too stiff, which ONE is better? The Progress or the chassis mounted Whiteline? Just wondering.

I am enjoying my Progress RSB! Sucker corners pretty hard now!

 

White line rocks it but makes a for a hella rough ride

 

Rear sway bars do not affect the ride of the xB.

 

^^ Correct, the Progress bar did not change the straight line ride at all.

But it did make a BIG difference in cornering. Well worth the 15 minutes and $120+s/h.

 

For generic highway driving, anti-sway bars do not impact the ride much (wheels moving similarly). For pothole ridden roads, anti-sway bars impact the ride more. The suspension looses side to side independence. Pot holes on one side of the car upset the other side as the forces are transmitted through the antisway bar.

If you add two sways, you amplify the effect. Very stiff when you hit a pothole or bump on one side of the car for the same reason the sway bars reduce roll.
