c-one rear frame brace here which does make a difference but i think the rear frame braces were for the xa chassis only

 

now that I just had my car lowered with h&r springs (1.5/1.4 in), i have to be careful, as I have scraped the gt spec brace 2x going over speed bumps since having it installed last Saturday...

 

dang, i was looking into geting one but scraping it in a 1.5" drop? idk whatll happen with a 2.5"/2.0" drop.

 

You just have to go really really slow over speed bumps. Sometimes you just cannot avoid the scrape.

 

Lol, yeah I have scraped my cusco one everywhere. Im on s-techs. It's inevitable with these, they hang low. Just be careful, go slow, and'or go at an angle.

 

and or just cup the cups around the mounting holes as they hang down more than necessary . i'm lowered almost 4 inches up fron and still scrape everywere . hell i've literally gotten stuck on speedbumps . i no longer drive through apartment complexes

 

gee, I went to the local high school parking lot for an activity, and I scraped on every speed bump! I hate this...it's so different from before...you should see my facial expression on all the speed bumps I had to go over. Had 3 passengers and myself...tire pressure at 38# each.... How do you guys do it that have even LOWER springs...[correction on the rear height of my H&R springs...it's 1.3 inches].

maybe when i get myself off these S-techs and into somethign not so low I'll pick these up.

 

pish posh, get some taller tires and call it a day. I need to get lower pro tires personally, im not low enough.

 

i would love to run low but i scrape everywhere i go anyways. i'm also on 195/50 15X8 so i'm even lower...

 

there's your problem, lol. Im on 195/60 and want wider and lower.

 

i just sold my 12" so i may be able to get away with it :-P that ish was heavy!
