Default how long does it take for springs...

to compress to the height they will be at? I have had my Tanabe NF210's on for almost a month now and the front looks higher then the rear. the NF210's were 1.7" drop in the front and 1.2" drop in the rear. when I measured my xB the front was about .5" higher then the rear so i went with the NF210's to give it an even look.here is a side pic:[img][/img]

here is the front tire: [img][/img]

and the rear: [img][/img]

I like the way it sits in the rear but the front is killing me. if I get different springs the rear will go down more and I don't want that. any help here?

the time it will take depends on how much weight you carry, and how often you carry it...like passengers, heavy equipment etc. often heavy loads = faster sag...

imo, ive seen springs take up to a year to sag

nice xb btw

thanks for the compliment.
a year?!? holy moly. I thought it would take a couple of weeks. I wonder if there is anywhere you can buy just front springs? I keep looking to see if the springs are put in backwards(front inback, back in front) but I know it wouldn't work. maybe I should just drive backwards. HA HA.

Hmmm. Interesting. I had TRD's, and couldnt stand the front being higher, so I got Tein S-Techs. The ride sits perfect, with the front slightly lower than the rear. It took me literally a day for the springs to settle. Just have a bunch of buddys weigh it down. Maybe look into Tein's? I dont know much about your springs, but they shouldnt do that, especially if the drop is supposed to be lower in the front...I would re-check everything if you havent already...

yea thats a hot xB. mine took a little over a month to fully settle. like they said ^, depends on the springs, what you carry, and how you drive

Hey, I just finished installing a set of Tein S-Techs about an hour ago on my XB. I drove it maybe 10 miles and it's sitting real nice. I'm sure it will settle a bit more in the next week or so but I can't imagine waiting much longer than that. Throw some weight in it with some buddies and do some bumpy driving, weaving etc with caution. If it's still sitting funny I'd give the manufacturer a call. Best of luck !

thanks for your input. I checked out the s-techs before I bought the Tanabe's. I carry people around and sometimes stuff in the back so I didn't want too much of a drop in the rear. maybe I should make everyone sit on the hood and drive them around that way. lol.

they are konig MP3's. got them off e-bay. the rims were different then anything else on a xB, that's why I wanted them.
