How low is too low to lower my scion tc? I'm thinking about getting a lowering kit.

and yes a 1.5 inch drop on the tC is nice.. so if you want it dropped but not slammed i say 1.5

now that the springs have settled in (take a week or two) and have about 5k on them, my drop comes in at right about an even 2". Has never rubbed

All I used were the Arospeed 1.5/1.75 springs for a Echo (box is heavier.. so the drop is more) - say what most want to say, and even I had reservations about them - but I think they've been great. They ride well, the drop is fine, they fit well, were inexpensive etc etc. I could've easily bought any spring set on the market - and I'm perfectly happy with the 'cheap' ones I got (which come in at a perfect - IMHO- 2")

 

if i had a tc i would definately drop it 2"....the car would look extremely sexy

I have the same springs. I've had good luck with them as well. My only complaint is they creak(when you get in and out) a little after about 10k Miles.

 

My factory springs do that.

 

My question is, what companies make a kit for the tc? I am looking to go low, but don't want coilovers. somewhere around two inches. can someone point me in the right direction?

 

You know you are too low when you get high centered on a speed bump "crab walking" over it.

That's a body dropped dually on bags, it doesn't always sit that low.

 

any one have any input on the TRD springs and struts??? I bought the trd coils for my matrix....and well the life on them hasn't been the longest.
