Default Info on Airlift Struts.

(I'll preface this by saying most of the info on the new struts did not come directly from airlift) Ok, So recently someone told me airlift released a "new and improved" strut. Today we were able to lay a pair of the very first struts, next to a brand new ones(ordered last Monday). I was told that Airlift corrected the positive camber issues, this doesn't appear to be the case on the pair we received today. The camber was absolutely identical to the 2 year old struts.

There were only 2 minor difference, one is a rubber bushing on the top of the struts,( the noise fix), and it appears to possibly use a different strut body, as the old ones were stamped with part numbers, and the new ones are not.

The lower mounts are the just the same, and the top thread and pitch are the same. They seem to be the same height overall. I am not really sure what was improved, but the same old issues seem to still be there.

I just wanted people to be aware, that no major changes were made as far as I can tell. So don't hope for a miracle.

thats crappy, i was told the same thing that they had a new and better ones available from a certified airlift dealer, at a car show recently, and he told me to call and complain and they should help me out but now im not sure if i want to after hearing this, i had these for two years now and have had nothing but problems with them from the time i ordered them, they told me they were going to be powdercoated too and they never were and they are rusting like a b*tch, how nice is that for a show car? and not to mention that annoying fricken noise
